One of my main roles was as a multidisciplinary partner, responsible for facilitating hospital discharge. My responsibilities included ensuring clients’ needs were met in line with family expectations. I gained many different skills whilst working for Hampshire county council and found it rewarding transferring skills I have learnt onto other members of the team. I educated clinical staff to ensure they understood the Mental Capacity Act and the implications on service provision.
I have supported many vulnerable adults living with dementia and I am passionate about supporting people with their personal journey to ensure their lives are stimulating, fulfilling and meaningful.
As your Regional Manager in , I am accountable for the service delivered to my clients and the support we provide to families. I have a team of dedicated care managers in Cornwall who work with you day to day to ensure that in partnership with you we create and deliver a high quality, holistic care plan which enables you to maintain choice and independence through personalised care and support.
