Our award-winning home care service
In the past four years, we have won, and been shortlisted for, more health and care awards than any other UK home care provider.
We are proud to have been voted ‘Best home care provider’ three times in a row in 2013 by leading health and social care experts. In 2014 so far we have won a further two home care provider awards for the second consecutive year.
These prestigious awards recognise not only our high standards of quality care in the home, but the innovation and expertise in developing services that help drive up standards and deliver improved outcomes for those we provide home care services to.
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
We are registered with the UK government regulators - the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England and the Scottish Care Inspectorate in Scotland and continually achieve the highest inspection outcomes. We also have an independent Advisory Board to help us continually innovate and deliver best practice.
Our control and quality assurance procedures including recruitment, training and monitoring of clients’ conditions help us to achieve high standards in home care. Our services are fully managed and are supported by robust systems in which we invest.
We have been inspected three times by the CQC, and each time have gained the highest possible rating. Please click here to view our latest inspection report.
Professional memberships and accreditations
We actively work with the UK's leading organisations involved in the health and care sector and are proud to be members of the following national bodies:
Independent Doctors Federation (IDF)
The Independent Doctors Federation (IDF) is a membership body representing independent medical practitioners in the UK. It is recognised as the nationwide voice of independent doctors on all matters relating to private medicine, as well as their education and re-validation.
UK Homecare Association Ltd (UKHCA)
The Good Care Group is a member of the UKHCA, the representative body for organisations that provide personal, nursing and social care at home. Our Director of Operations, Dominique Kent sits on the Executive Board of the UKHCA.
Care England, formerly The English Community Care Association (ECCA) is the largest representative body for community care in England. Working on behalf of small, medium and large home care providers, it speaks with a single unified voice on behalf of its members and the sector.
The care market is becoming increasingly more complex and the demands on it more insistent. Add in rapidly rising costs and it is clear that this country cannot provide proper care for its elderly.
Undoubtedly a mix of care solutions is required in the marketplace. So, it is reassuring that there are organisations like The Good Care Group who can help provide such solutions, helping drive up standards of care throughout the industry with their ground breaking training programmes.
