Meet Rosalie, our Regional Manager in Scotland

Support is incredibly important in any role that we do, but it’s so important with live-in care where you are working on your own with a client. Lone working may seem daunting, however at The Good Care Group, we make sure there is always plenty of support available, so that you can focus on what you do best, caring for your client.

Meet our Regional Manager Rosalie, who shares her journey and progression within The Good Care Group. She tells us more about her role and the support she provides her team of professional live-in carers.

“I am proud that I can continue to help our clients to remain in the place they love most, their own home”

“I previously worked in health and social care for a local authority as part of the reablement team, before joining The Good Care Group in 2017. When I first started at The Good Care Group, I was a Care Manager in Scotland. The role was fulfilling and gave me the greatest job satisfaction knowing that myself and the team had made a real difference to our clients’ lives.

What attracted me to The Good Care Group was their values and commitment to their staff and clients and the ongoing support that was available to everyone.

As a Care Manager it was a pleasure to be able to provide all of our clients with the best support to remain in their own home surrounded by their comforts and family. I am very proud of our professional carers working to the highest standards and I feel grateful to have supported them to work to the best of their abilities.

In July 2022 I was given the opportunity to progress to Regional Manager for Scotland. In my role as a Regional Manager I am proud that I can continue to help our clients to remain  in the place they love most, their own home and to deliver the best care and support possible for both our clients and carers.”

When you become a part of The Good Care Group, you will have a dedicated team supporting you, every step of the way. From your local team who will provide support in placement, to our carer services team who are there for you if you simply want someone to talk to, or you need some practical advice. We also have our Admiral Nurse, Jane, and our Occupational Therapist, Jackie – who both provide invaluable support to our carers and clients. That’s part of the reason we believe there is nowhere better to be a professional live-in carer. It’s a place where you can feel supported, part of a team and access great opportunities to develop your knowledge.
