History & values

The Good Care Group was founded in the UK in 2009 with a vision of becoming the leading provider of high-quality home care services that enable people to continue to live comfortably in their homes for longer. The Good Care Group delivers live in care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

About us

The Good Care Group is a professional provider of high quality home care that enables older people to live in their own homes for as long as possible. Services include 24-hour live in care, hourly care and a respite service. All professional carers are employed by us – we do not use agency staff. Our recruitment process for carers is rigorous and those who are selected receive market-leading training and on-going professional development to ensure the very highest standards of care.

Care is delivered in the homes of people ranging from those who need extra support and companionship, to those dealing with debilitating or serious health conditions and need assistance to live independently.

Our values

We only deliver the very highest standards of care that enable people to live with choice, dignity and independence in the comfort of their home, whilst improving lifestyle and quality of life. The Good Care Group has a set of values that guide the way we work to ensure we achieve this – every employee is recruited against these values.

Leading the way

We are leading the way in supporting those with specialist medical conditions, including dementia, Parkinson’s, MS and motor neurone disease, improving overall wellbeing and quality of life. Our service is fully managed, 24/7 and care is continually monitored by a dedicated team local to you that provides unrivalled support to clients and families. We are always striving to innovate our services, all of which are backed up by robust systems and processes that support the quality of care we deliver.

CQC and CI regulated care for England and Scotland

As a fully-regulated provider, we take part in routine inspections from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in England, and the Care Inspectorate (CI) in Scotland.

We’re currently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, and ‘Very Good’ by the CI, placing us within the top 3% of home care providers for our safe, effective, caring, well-led and responsive care.
