The Good Care Group has been delivering home care across England and Scotland since 2012. The quality of care we provide is rated as ‘Outstanding’ following a recent inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We consider ourselves to be one of the best home care providers due to a team of professional carers and experts who support our vision. In Chelsea, we can provide carers who can support you in your own home. We can cover one-off visits or provide regular care throughout the week, with our carers also having access to 24-hour support if they need it. Whatever your wish, we can develop a package of care that covers all your needs.
If you fancy a day out to a local beauty spot, a lunch in a local café or even a visit to Chelsea Gardens, our fully-qualified carers are on hand and can help you stay in the place you know and love, even if your needs are more complex.
We cover home care across Chelsea; this includes Brompton, Cremorne Estate, Coleridge Garden and Knightsbridge.
Arranging home care in Chelsea
Our friendly and experienced team are here to help you and your loved ones make sense of the options available to you. Call us today we will help you every step of the way.
When you’re looking for the right type of home care for yourself or a loved one, we know how difficult it can be to try and decipher between the different options available. The Good Care Group is proud to offer both live-in care and hourly care to our clients in the Chelsea area. Find out more about these two types of home care below.
Hourly care in Chelsea
Hourly care or visiting care is an option for those who wish to have support in their home on a regular basis. This could be in the form of a carer popping in to help with household chores, shopping or preparing meals, or even a chat over a cup of tea. Personal care can also be provided and this enables our clients to live somewhat independently yet have support as and when needed. Our hourly home care package enables you to live your life to the fullest – whether this means our carers join you on a hunt for antiques and treasures on Lots Road or simply potting around in your garden and home.
Our professional carers in Chelsea can pop in for as little as an hour for whatever tasks you need assistance with. Our carers are employed locally so they can assist with running errands, trips to the local shop for a pint of milk or newspaper, or even collecting medication from a local pharmacy.
We know how important it is for our clients to maintain as much independence as possible, so we assist you or your loved one in living the way they wish. If your preferences or needs change, we can adapt our care package to meet those needs.
Live-in care in Chelsea
If you or your family member have complex health needs, our live-in care option may be more suitable. As the name suggests, if you choose this option, we can arrange for one of our carers to live with you. This ensures that care is available 24 hours a day Here at The Good Care Group, we carefully match live-in carers to our clients to ensure that the best care possible is delivered. We always choose carers with experience with specific health conditions, taking into consideration their personality, likes and interests to ensure they are the best match for you or your loved one. That way, you can be confident that the very best care in both body and spirit is being provided.
Live-in care gives you the option to live at home in the place you love, surrounded by the people you are familiar with. Live-in care means that you are in an environment surrounded by your best memories rather than having the stress and possible fear of moving and living in a completely different place. We can cater to all of your needs even if these are complex or you have a medical condition that requires specialist care. Our live-in care option can give you reassurance and is often a more affordable option even if both you and your partner require assistance.
If you need more specialised care for a loved one, we can also arrange for specific, nurse-led care to be provided in the home. All of our carers can be trained to assist with PEG feeding, insulin administration or stoma care, which will help you to stay well and safe even if you have more complex medical requirements.

Hourly Care Manager,
I’m Jessica, Hourly Care Manager for The Good Care Group. I first joined the company in 2019 as a Live-in Care Manager, which I did for two years before leaving to start up an hourly care service for a franchise provider in North London. I rejoined The Good Care Group in 2022 as the Hourly Care Manager.
As Hourly Care Manager, my role involves working alongside our client services team, assessing new clients, creating robust care plans and risk assessments of their needs and working alongside the scheduling team to find a suitable match of carer for each client to ensure that their care is set up to achieve the best outcomes. I may also need to work alongside our Occupational Therapist or Consultant Admiral Nurse when setting up more complex care placements. My role varies day to day, and a lot of what I do involves supporting my team of carers and my clients with whatever the day brings.
My career in health and social care started in 2010. Since then, I have worked in various roles including as a carer, care scheduler, care supervisor, care manager and registered care manager.
As part of my role, I need to complete regular calls to check in and stay up to date with my care team and clients. Every three months, my care team is called for supervision and clients have visits and monitoring calls to ensure that they are happy with the care being provided to them. Clients also have six-monthly or monthly reviews of their care. If there are incidents or accidents, I provide support to them to ensure the safety of everyone involved, ensuring to review risk assessments and care plans to prevent future occurrences. I also work with the training team and support carers with their career development. My role is to ensure that the care team feels supported and clients are happy with the care and support that they are receiving.
I hold a Level 5 in Health and Social Care and have supported individuals with a wide range of needs including dementia, palliative care, Parkinson’s, cancer, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, learning disabilities, autism, mental health and neurological conditions.
Alongside my Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, I also hold a Level 3 in Education and Training, BILD Assessors qualification and an Open University qualification in Autism Awareness. I am a first aid instructor, moving and handling instructor and medication trainer. I believe that training is a vital part of the care role and continual development ensures the individuals that we support get the quality care they need.
I have witnessed both obstacles and successes within the sector and seen first-hand what difference can be made whether big or small in someone's life. I believe that the journey I have taken from starting as a carer to becoming a manager has allowed me to understand what support needs to be provided not only to the individuals we support, but the amazing carers that are providing it. I understand the importance of ensuring the highest quality of care is delivered, and enjoy leading and encouraging my team to work towards the best possible outcomes. I am an experienced care manager and have managed both hourly and live-in care in a home care setting. I have been able to see the benefits of people receiving care in their own home and remaining at home.
I am very proud of the journey I have been on to get to where I am currently in my career. I feel proud of my development and that I have been able to witness everything I have along the way from a carer to a manager.
The Good Care Group provides a fully-managed home care option. We adhere to standards set by our regulators, the Care Quality Commission, and are regularly inspected to ensure that we continue to deliver our services at the highest standard possible. Unlike other care agencies in Chelsea, we employ and train all of our carers ourselves, so we can provide you with care if your regular carer is away.
Our carers also benefit from the fact that we are able to take care of all the paperwork and Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) background checks which are required before we employ them, something which other agencies expect their carers to manage. We also offer a range of company rewards and benefits.
Private care in Chelsea
You can be assured that The Good Care Group is a fully-managed home care provider, who can assist you or a loved one with their needs around the home on an ad hoc or live-in basis. Care can take the form of assistance or companionship to provide you with assurance. Whether this be in the form of a trip to the shops or local café for lunch, you can rest assured that all of our carers undergo stringent training, have support from a team of trainers and expert clinicians if they need advice -ll in all, you are in good hands. Whatever your needs, we can assist you to develop a package of care, which can change if your needs do.
Specialist dementia care in Chelsea
Over 900,000 people are currently living with dementia, but not all needs are the same. Here at The Good Care Group, we understand the nuances of dementia in each individual and that’s why our care plans are completely tailored to the individual to promote and nurture independence.
Receiving dementia care at home is a practical, often more suitable, option to moving into a care home, as it allows you or your loved one to get a personalised care plan which covers your symptoms, medical requirements and personal preferences whilst reducing the stress that would come with moving away from the comforts and familiarity of your own home. Whether you or a loved one have just been diagnosed with dementia and are coming to terms with what this will mean for all of you, or if your loved one has advanced Alzheimer’s and needs daily assistance with personal care, our team in Chelsea can provide you with all you need to continue living in your own home.
Domiciliary care in Chelsea
Domiciliary care, the term used to describe care at home, is an ideal way to live life the way you wish to. Our professional domiciliary carers can help you or your loved one with regular chores or hobbies. Assistance with tasks, looking after pets, preparing meals or even setting up reminders to ensure you take your medication on time can be part of the help they provide. Our domiciliary carers in Chelsea can ensure you attend doctor or dental appointments on time, and provide support in your home such as assisting you to bathe, wash your hair or other personal care needs to give you peace of mind.
Short-term respite care in Chelsea
The need for care can arise at any given time – perhaps after hospital discharge and needing extra support at home to help with your recovery, or if you care for a loved one and need to take a break for any reason. With respite care from our experienced team in Chelsea, we can step in, on a short-term basis if needed, so that you’re not left without vital assistance at a time when you need it most.
Respite care in Chelsea can be delivered in a way that suits your needs and your care requirements, via either hourly care or live-in care on a pre-planned basis. This means that if you’re a caregiver for a loved one, our professional carers can provide cover for you to take time off for yourself if necessary and even if you wish to take some time off to recharge your batteries.
Compassionate and fully-trained carers in Chelsea
The Good Care Group’s ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating has been awarded, in part, due to our excellent training programme that is delivered to all of our carers. With only 2% of those that apply to be successful in becoming fully-fledged carers, you can be sure that the care you’re receiving is being delivered by only the very best carers.
During a five-day induction programme, training is delivered by our experienced in-house training team. A number of modules such as first aid, dementia care, end-of-life care, manual handling and inclusion and diversity are provided. Refresher training sessions are also available and are held annually. Complex care training is delivered by our specialist service team consisting of our Consultant Admiral Nurse and Occupational Therapist.
Providing a high level of support to both our clients and carers is extremely important to us. Our carers in Chelsea meet with their manager on a regular basis and have access to assistance 24 hours a day.
