Winner of the Margaret Butterworth Award

One of the highlights for this month has been the wonderful achievement of professional carer, Olga Starkiewicz, in winning the Margaret Butterworth Award

One of the highlights for this month has been the wonderful achievement of professional carer, Olga Starkiewicz, in winning the Margaret Butterworth Award. This is an award for excellence in dementia care for care workers, health care assistants and activity organisers.

Olga was up against some strong competition and we are so delighted that she won. Director of Operations, Dominique Kent, and Care Manager Emma Sadler, were there to see Olga collect her award at the ceremony on the 19th July.

Not only does the receipt of this award help to raise awareness of the benefits of live-in care, and that provided by The Good Care Group in particular, it also helps to raise the profile of caring as a highly skilled profession.
