The Good Care Group Joins SHIF: Championing ABI Care
We are pleased to announce that The Good Care Group is now a proud member of the SHIF (Scottish Head Injury Forum) support network. This partnership strengthens our commitment to providing the highest quality, specialist care for individuals living with an acquired brain injury.
About SHIF and the impact of ABI
SHIF works tirelessly to increase knowledge and understanding of the effects of acquired brain injury (ABI) among service users, their families, healthcare providers, and policy makers.
Through their regular open forum meetings and advocacy, SHIF promotes vital aims, including:
- Supporting individuals with an acquired brain injury, their families, and carers through education and information.
- Increasing knowledge of ABI effects among professionals and policy makers.
- Promoting and influencing the development of comprehensive services for treatment, rehabilitation, health, and welfare.

Our commitment
By joining the network, The Good Care Group is enhancing its ability to share best practices, stay current on the latest research, and contribute to the collective effort to improve ABI care across the UK.
We look forward to an active year ahead, and we are committed to attending SHIF conferences and events throughout the year. These gatherings are invaluable for learning, networking, and ensuring that our dedicated care team remains at the forefront of specialist live-in care for those recovering from or living with an acquired brain injury.
We are eager to begin this journey with SHIF and continue to champion better outcomes for those we support.
