Run, walk or push against dementia
How far will you and your family go?
This is a family and community event with three different categories. A 3k walk/run which can be completed by the whole family, last year, the youngest was five months old in a buggy, there were quite a few buggies pushed by mum or dad and a couple of young people on their scooters! At the other end of the scale, an elderly gentleman, who completed the course with a small oxygen cylinder in a rucksack. Then there is the 5k run/walk great for children, families and short distance runners.
The 10k is perfect for runners who are a little more competitive…
Once you cross the finishing line you’ll receive a medal and, as this is a timed event, your time will be posted online from Tuesday 15th May.

Event timings
You will need to register on the event day to collect your bib number. The registration desk will be open from 10am to 11am.
The start times are:
10k route – 11.30am
5k route – 11.35am
3k route – 11.40am
