Our team’s incredible success at the Regional Care Awards
We are absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news from the recent care awards!
The Good Care Group has received significant recognition at The Great British Care Awards (London Region), highlighting our commitment to outstanding, person-led care. This success is a true testament to the passion and professionalism of our team.
Co-Production Award Winner
We are incredibly proud to have won the Co-Production Award this year!
This award recognises our commitment to working with our clients and staff to shape our services. We were commended for two innovative initiatives in care:
- Our EVER dementia strategy: designed by our in-house Admiral Nurse, Dr Jane Pritchard, alongside clients and professionals, EVER focuses on Engagement, Validation, Enrichment, and Relationships for those living with dementia.
- Peer-led EDI groups: these ensure equity, diversity, and inclusion are upheld across all our operations.
The judges noted that these initiatives demonstrate a mature, reflective organisation dedicated to relationship-centred and person-led care.
Highly commended for Workforce Development
The Good Care Group was also Highly Commended in the Workforce Development Award category.
This recognition celebrates how we embed Respect, Empathy, and Trust into everything we do, from recruitment through to career progression. The judges acknowledged our inclusive practices, structured career pathways, and open communication which have led to high engagement and retention.
Nichola Proctor – Highly commended
We are immensely proud that our own Nichola Proctor was Highly Commended in the Care Assessor Award category.
The judges highlighted Nichola’s exceptional dedication, compassion, and professionalism. They praised her consistent availability to both clients and colleagues, noting that her commitment to creating positive outcomes – even through the smallest gestures – showcases her genuine passion for care and strong sense of responsibility.
