Laura Davies supports Who Cares Wins! as Ambassador Endorser
We’re proud to share that Laura Davies, Chief Operating Officer at The Good Care Group, is supporting Championing Social Care this year as an Ambassador Endorser for their national conference, Who Cares Wins!
Laura has been an ambassador for Championing Social Care for three years now. From Care Sector’s Got Talent to cycle relays and more, Laura supports the charity in organising events to raise the profile of health and social care and inspire people to make a difference.
Championing Social Care is a charitable organisation with a mission to shine a light on the incredible work that happens within the social care sector. With programmes and events running throughout the year, they aim to educate the public so that families can make informed decisions about their care, and anyone thinking about a career in the sector is aware of the incredible opportunities that exist.
Led by Anita Goyal MBE, Who Cares Wins! invites young people to learn more about the career pathways that exist in health and social care. With guest speakers and interactive activities, the event aims to highlight opportunities in the sector and inspire the next generation of social care professionals.
The Good Care Group will also be sponsoring the event, joining Laura to champion health and social care as a meaningful and impactful career choice for young people.
“I wanted to be a part of Championing Social Care to help raise the profile of health and social care, and all the hard work that’s done across the sector. Having worked in the public sector, I’m really passionate about making a difference to people’s lives.” Says Laura, on her role as Ambassador Endorser for Who Cares Wins!
