Meet our Scotland Care Team
We’ve been providing high quality live in care across Scotland for over 10 years, thanks to our dedicated team of professionals. From care managers to live in carers, who work from the Highlands to Dumfries, our commitment to excellence and personalised care has earned us a rating of “Excellent” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the quality of care and support and “Very Good” for our quality of staffing by the Care Inspectorate (CI). We believe there’s nowhere better to work and it’s all because of the amazing people who dedicate their lives to help others.
“The Scotland team are really helpful and are always ready to lend an ear or a hand if needed.”
Working as part of a close knit team, whilst sharing the same values and goals, to ensure that we’re giving our clients the best quality live in care possible.
“Scotland is such a lovely place to work. I have been in Scotland all my life and I am still amazed by it.”
Nyree Doyle, our Regional Care Manager in Scotland, started with The Good Care Group (TGCG) in April 2020 as a Care Manager. Through her hard work and dedication, she has progressed to the role of Regional Manager, leading a team of three exceptional care managers: Angela, Eilidh, and Adela. Nyree’s journey within TGCG is a testament to the opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.
“Working in Scotland is such a pleasure for our team. We’re able to travel around the country to visit clients and carers. There’s nowhere better to work as we have the opportunity to see how beautiful the landscape is and what a great job our carers do”.
“The support I had and still have makes me feel appreciated and this is the place I want to be. I love to see how the care that TGCG provides makes such a difference to people’s lives and that makes everything all worthwhile.” Nyree – Regional Manager
Meet our Care Managers
Angela joined TGCG in June 2023, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her extensive experience in the care industry. Angela has been in the care industry since she was 13, and her deep understanding of care has been invaluable to our team.
Adela has been part of the Scotland team for almost two years, initially as a Scheduler and now as a Care Manager. Her role allows her to experience firsthand the positive impact our care services have on people’s lives, reinforcing her passion and commitment to her work.
“The Scotland team is the loveliest team I have worked with. We support each other in everything. We are a strong, outgoing, fun team, but we are also committed to doing the best we can for our clients and carers.” Adela – Care Manager
Eilidh is one of the Care Managers, mainly covering the West of Scotland. She has worked in the care industry since the age of 16 years old. Eilidh has worked with TGCG since July 2021, originally starting her journey as the Office Manager then quickly moving into a Care Manager role and further gaining her SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
“I really enjoy my role here at TGCG Scotland because I work with some really fantastic people, from Head office staff to the frontline professional carers”. Eilidh – Care Manager
TGCG offers great support, ensuring you feel confident in your role. Whether you are new to live in care or you’re looking for a change in your caring career, the TGCG team in Scotland is here to help you succeed and grow. We believe in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment where every team member feels welcomed, valued and appreciated.
