Top tips on how to prepare for a Live-in Care interview with The Good Care Group

We all know how daunting interviews can feel. At The Good Care Group, we want you to feel relaxed and prepared to speak with our team of Recruiters. When you are invited to a final interview, our Recruiters will conduct a face to face video call. We want the opportunity to get to know you better and to have an insight into your previous experience and passion for care.

We want you to go into the interview feeling comfortable and confident, that’s why we’ve provided some tips on how to best prepare for your Live-in Care interview at The Good Care Group.

Preparation

In the days running up to your interview, we recommend that you come prepared. Having an understanding of what we do as a business and researching our company’s culture and values demonstrates that you have a strong interest in the role. Our goal is to employ people that want to provide the very best care to our clients. It could also help to prepare questions in advance, it’s important to make sure we are also the right fit for you.

Dress Code

As our interviews are online, we are often asked questions about the dress code. What we suggest is dressing smart and well presented for the role of a live-in carer. It’s always good to consider first impressions but also feel comfortable within yourself as our aim is to get the best out of you.

Video Interview

To know how to join the video interview, a link will be provided in the email invitation that is sent out prior. We suggest making sure that your camera is on, you have a good wifi connection and to minimise any distractions or noise around you.

Most importantly, we are here to make you feel at ease.  Not only is the interview about ensuring you have the right skills for the role, we want to get to know you personally and have a great conversation. We wish you the best of luck!

If you have any queries regarding the recruitment process, please call us on 03301 735 296. Alternatively, if you’re interested in joining the team, you can apply here.
