Working at The Good Care Group: Zoe’s 2 years journey
A commitment to outstanding
At The Good Care Group (TGCG), our commitment to outstanding home care and live-in care goes beyond words; it’s at the heart of everything we do.
We recently sat down with Zoe, a valued member of our Quality Assurance team, to hear what she loves most about working here and how TGCG supports her both professionally and personally.
Delivering the very best in care services
“I started with TGCG just over 2 years ago now. What has stood out to me the most is the unwavering focus on the people we support. It’s not just about providing good care services, but delivering the very best possible, always aiming to go beyond expectations and achieve excellence. We are always looking at ways to improve our processes.”
A positive working environment
The work environment at TGCG is incredibly positive and welcoming. “I sit in a team of 5 and everyone is friendly and supportive, creating an atmosphere that truly makes a difference day to day. Having worked in other settings where the environment wasn’t as uplifting, I can honestly say that the difference here is huge and it makes every day so much better.” This positive environment is key to providing exceptional senior care and elderly care across the UK.
Valued and encouraged
Support goes beyond just the job itself. “The managers and team members offer exceptional encouragement both professionally and personally. I feel genuinely valued and encouraged to grow in my role.” This dedication to employee well-being ensures our team delivers the highest standards of person-centred care.
Prioritising wellbeing: carer support and employee well-being
Wellbeing and mental health are at the forefront of what we do at TGCG. “When I needed to request adjustments and support, it was implemented straight away without question. It felt like my wellbeing was a priority and that level of care and understanding makes such a difference.” This focus on carer support and employee well-being contributes to the exceptional quality of care.
– Zoe, Quality and Compliance Lead
With all this in mind, it’s no surprise that TGCG comes highly recommended by those who work here.
