About me
I’m Lynn, a care manager here at The Good Care Group covering East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire, and the Isle of Wight.
I’ve been in the care industry since 1989, and over the last four decades, have found a passion for end-of-life care. With just one chance to get this pathway right, I believe in gaining as much information as possible about a person’s wishes, so that we can make them feel comfortable and safe.
I also know how important it is to listen to and support the family of the person receiving end-of-life care. I ensure that they are signposted to local bereavement counselling, and make sure their voices are heard during every stage of the care journey.
Some of the most rewarding moments in my career include fulfilling end-of-life wishes, such as supporting people to live their final weeks at home rather than in a hospital setting.
