The Good Care Group is immensely proud to announce that we’ve been nominated as finalists for ‘Domiciliary care provider of the year’ at the HealthInvestor Awards 2017.
This nomination is testament to the talent and dedication of our entire team; from our carers, to our managers, to our office-based staff. We can’t thank you all enough.
With the winner set to be announced on Thursday 1 June, we’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit more about this award and why the nomination means so much to us.
What makes the HealthInvestor Awards so prestigious?
HealthInvestor defines itself as “the leading magazine and website for investors, operators, lenders and advisors focused on the UK health and social care sector.”
This magazine is a feature in health and social care offices up and down the country.
Each year, HealthInvestor hosts a unique award show, dedicated to honouring quality and innovation across the health and social care sector.
Potential award winners must be nominated within a two-month window, with the deadline for nominations closing at the end of January. Nominations can be submitted by any associated firm.
2017 saw a record number of entries. The HealthInvestor editorial team – in charge of whittling down all nominations into a shortlist of finalists – described it as “the most competitive entry process yet.”
There are five awards within the social category, and each award has eight finalists. This shortlist has now been given to an independent, expert panel of high-profile judges from across the sector for deliberation.
The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on 1 June at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane. Needless to say, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed!
