Developing our talent

We aim to set the standards of care delivery and professionalise care through our approach to continuous training and professional development.  We invest in our professional carers to ensure the very highest standards of care at home and want to grow talent from within the organisation by providing opportunities for carers to learn and develop their careers.

When a professional carer joins The Good Care Group we identify a clear programme of professional development that surpasses anything else offered in the sector and far exceeds the Care Quality Commission‘s (CQC) regulatory requirements.

A blended programme of learning

Once a professional carer completes their induction training, probationary period and six months service with us, they have the opportunity to enrol on our own unique, professional qualification in health and social care.  This 18 month vocational programme developed with NTQ UK, the leading training provider in the care sector, blends modules on communication and care delivery with specialist pathways that allow carers to choose which area of care expertise they wish to focus on.

This market-leading programme of learning will ensure all our professional carers are trained, qualified and equipped to deliver the very highest standards of home care and improve the outcomes for all our clients.
