Professional Live In Carers
Only the very best carers
All our professional carers are exclusively employed by us – we do not use agency staff, so you can be assured of the very highest quality care delivery. Our rigorous recruitment process far exceeds the statutory legal checks to make sure we only employ the very highest standard of professional carers.
Expert training
Our professional carers are highly qualified and experienced. However, regardless of the level of experience all our carers complete our comprehensive, 17 module training programme, which far exceeds the statutory requirement.
Our programme of training includes everything from personal care, medications management, moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene and nutrition, through to those that support lifestyle, including cooking and culture and communication and depression, as well as those that support complex conditions such as dementia and Parkinson’s.
Reward and recognition
To ensure we attract and retain the very best carers in the UK, we reward them with marketing leading employment packages, flexible working, paid holidays and shares in our company – we want our carers to be highly motivated, stay with us for the long term and develop a professional career in care. This enables us to provide the continuity and consistency of care delivery our clients should expect.
Professionalising care
Our ambition is to professionalise care and set the standards of care delivery in the sector. When a carer joins The Good Care Group they have a clear pathway for professional development that ensures they have the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver the high standards of live-in care, this includes working towards enrolment on our own unique, professional health and social care qualification.
Our professional carers are vital to our success and we will continue to invest in them to ensure we deliver market leading, high quality live-in care services and continue to enhance our clients’ lives.
Here is what some of our professional carers say about working for The Good Care Group.
“I am proud to be a part of The Good Care Group, a company that cares not only about its clients but also its people . Everyone is professional and support is always provided when required. The training I received enabled me to feel confident and flourish in my placement. I am very thankful to the Good Care Group for finding me such a wonderful placement. They matched me and my client’s personalities perfectly, and I think it has played a huge part in us building such a strong relationship with each other. It feels great to wake up every day and put a smile on my client’s face, to know that I can make their day a little bit special. Being there for someone, knowing that I can make a real difference, help to make life enjoyable again, brings more meaning into my own life and I believe makes me a better person.”
Tanya
“I joined The Good Care Group having worked in the care sector for the past five years. The dedicated and professional care team provide both clients and carers with help, advice and support whenever it is needed. I am very impressed with the quality of the induction training we receive before placement, far better than any other I have attended – it was first class. Carers are kept well informed and our input is always welcome, creating an environment where the carers feel very much part of the business and what it is trying to achieve.”
Carole

The Good Care Group is not just delivering high quality care, it is revolutionising it. If being a professional carer is a career you wish to pursue, you would find The Good Care Group the perfect place to start your journey – the comprehensive training and on-going development is outstanding.”
