In March 2013, The Good Care Group has been recognised as the best home care provider by a leading industry body. At Laing & Buisson’s Independent Specialist Care Awards we achieved ultimate success in the prestigious Home Care category, winning it for a second time. This is a true reflection of the excellent care we deliver to our clients and their families and further strengthens our position as the leading home care provider. We are also finalists in the Health Investor awards in the Domiciliary Care category and the Great British Care Awards, National Finals in the Dementia Carer category, both of which will be announced in Spring 2013.
During 2012, we were delighted to be announced as one of the top 45 companies in healthcare in Laing’s Healthcare20 in recognition of the high quality live in home care we provide our clients and the only live in care provider to be included. We were also finalists in Laing & Buisson’s Independent Healthcare Awards in September 2012 in two categories; Excellence in Training and Domiciliary Care Provider and the only live in care provider nominated for more than one award. The Great South East Care Awards 2012 saw us shortlisted as finalists in two categories; Care Employer and Dementia Carer.
In March 2011 we were recognised for our approach to delivering innovative dementia care in the home using the SPECAL method and were awarded Laing & Buission’s Independent Specialist Care Awards in the Home Care category. We also reached the finalist stage for two other leading care sector awards in 2011; The Great British Care Awards in the Dementia Carer category and the Independent Specialist Care Award in the Home Care category.
