At The Good Care Group we truly understand how difficult it can be for the families of those living with dementia. Our established Understanding Dementia event provides families with an opportunity to meet with our leading dementia experts and ask questions to gain insights into the condition and how high quality dementia care can be delivered at home. It also provides you with an opportunity to meet other families with whom you may share similar experiences.
We welcome to this event Dementia UK’s Lead Admiral Nurse, Ian Weatherhead, expert in supporting families faced with the challenges dementia can present. Ian will address the main issues that can affect someone living with dementia, and provide some practical solutions for coping with these. Our Head of Care, Zoe Elkins will discuss the importance of keeping mobile for those living with dementia, with helpful ideas on how to keep your loved one active and prevent falls in the home.
