Specialist Dementia Carers
All our professional carers providing our dementia service will have experience of delivering dementia care. Regardless of their level of experience they will all undertake our dementia training programme before they are placed with a client. Our Care Delivery Managers who oversee the care of the clients with dementia are offered advanced training in the SPECAL Method with the Contented Dementia Trust.
Our carers will be provided with on-going mentoring and coaching from leading dementia experts whilst with our clients to ensure the right level of support is provided for delivery of high quality dementia care in the home.
At The Good Care Group, we are committed to ensuring that all our dementia placements where the person is living with dementia are successful from day one. Our Specialist Dementia Assessors and highly trained Care Delivery Managers will work for the first 30 days with the professional carer in any placement to ensure the optimum plan of care is implemented that supports the individuals overall lifestyle and wellbeing.
